Baptismal Font cannot be in the Sanctuary because each Sacrament needs its own distinct sacred space. Ideally the Baptismal Font should be placed in or near the entrance or front of the church. This is a sign of welcome into the community and the fact that from our baptism we then flow towards the other Sacraments.

Wooden baptismal fonts are made from either Oak walnut or cherry solid lumber and cabinet grade plywood. Wooden fonts have a clear waterproof protective finish.
